B'rer Fox

Br'er Fox is a minor antagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited saga, mostly appearing as a henchman to various villainous parties starting in "The Chain of Memories" onward.

Story[]

The Chain of Memories[]

Br'er Fox first appears in this story, having been recruited behind the scenes by Creeper to fill out his ranks of the Gang of Idiots, hoping to use the former henchmen as his personal army in his own attempt to take over the worlds and fulfill his former master's goal of plunging them all into eternal chaos. The fox thus spends the rest of the story tormenting both Taran and Ellidyr's teams alongside the rest of Creeper's men, serving the team as an assassin and trap-specialist. The fox is nearly killed in the Sunnyside Farm campaign when an increasingly memory-mutated Taran attacks him in blind rage for almost hurting Dumbo, and it only takes the intervention of Donald, Goofy, and Br'er Bear to prevent the lad from decapitating him. This leads to both Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear gaining a unnatural fear for the Keybearer's well being, and it is they who suggest to Creeper that they go back to the memory world of Prydain to perform a truce with the Highwind Crew members and go save Taran from his own madness. The truce lasts until NOS-4-A2 is destroyed, and the villains immediately flee to the basement to challenge Ellidyr's group one last time.

But before Creeper can even land a single blow on the dark hero, the Lich King Phineas arrives to drain Creeper of his life force in order to revive the Horned King, scaring off the remaining scoundrels before Iago rallies them together to stand and fight against the wicked monster. In the end, Ellidyr is able to land the final blow on the Horned King, and Creeper is revived by the resulting death-explosion, which leads the Gang of Idiots to leave Castle Oblivion to find the former general Pete to lead them into glory.
