CLU 2.0

CLU is a supporting antagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, appearing for the events of the Grid campaigns of "Encoded Truths" and "The Fantasmic Dreamtime".

CLU was a program originally created by Kevin Flynn to help oversee The Grid, but having been programmed to create the "perfect system", he betrayed him and took The Grid under his control, issuing the complete annihilation of the ISOs.

Story[]

Backstory - Between BoANE and Empire[]

(His creation and encoding by Kevin Flynn to serve as a hacking program to recover the stolen video game files from ENCOM's database)

An Empire of Dreams[]

(Reprises his role from Tron, serving as a way to introduce the MCP to the audience before Taran and the heroes find out about it in their search for Dooku and Marwoleath's research files)

Encoded Truths[]

(Is rebuilt by Kevin from scratch to perfect the Tron system/the Grid; finds his mission complicated due to the presence of the Jewish analogues messing up his vision for a perfect world; ends up going rogue due to being unable to understand the ISOs' nature and being persuaded by the Lord of Darkness to turn against Flynn to conquer the Grid himself; serves as one of the major antagonists of Encoded Truths alongside the Chaos King, LoD, and Abraxas, having corrupted the latter program to serve as an open threat while he prepared to unleash his coup upon the system; allies himself with the Hellfire Organization to suit his plans for conquering both the Digital and Real Worlds)

The Fantasmic Dreamtime[]

(Continues to serve as the Hellfire Organization's contact in the Grid while also reprising his role in Tron Legacy; is assisted by Pete and Trudy van Tubb to keep the programs of the Grid under his thumb while also hunting down Kevin and Sam to get the access code needed to escape the Realm of Sleep and enter the Waking Real World; finds out too late from Emperor Zurg, in fact mere moments before his death from reintegration, that he and the other evil programs were little more than just pawns in the Seekers' plan to trap Taran in the Realm of Sleep by serving as open threats for the Keybearer to defeat)
