Frax

Frax/Dr. Louis Ferricks

Frax is a minor antagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, first appearing in "An Empire of Dreams" as a Harbinger of Dominion XIII.

Formerly known as Doctor Louis Ferricks, a kindly roboticist from the 30th Century Crystal Auradon, he was kidnapped by the time-traveling agents of the Dominion's Black Moon leadership in order to utilize his knowledge in robotics to upgrade their Battle Droids and Incorporeo Troopers for use in their secret invasion upon the worlds of the Modern Age. When he refused, Ferricks was punished by being tortured and forcibly rebuilt into a cyborg by Doctors Frankenollie, XXX, Gero, and Tully/Darth Armor and compelled to obey the Dominion's orders through hardwired programming. Angered by his humiliation and transformation, Frax plotted to get revenge on the Dominion's leadership and teamed up with fellow alien cyborg Deviot to try and overthrow Emperor Zurg, even as he was being assigned to continue working on Frankenollie's abandoned experiments.

Story[]

Backstory[]

(An adaptation of his backstory from Power Rangers Time Force, though edited to involved Dominion XIII/the Black Moon Clan as the cause behind his cyborg transformation and enslavement to the Dark Forces)

A Year of Misery[]

(Takes over command of the Replica Project with Frankenollie and Gero's demise, while secretly intending to betray Emperor Zurg at the first sign of weakness with an army of chipped Clone Troopers loyal only to him; is primarily responsible for assisting in Morgause's development using leftover research notes from Frankenollie's journal; joins up with Asajj Ventress' secret alliance due to one too many moments of abuse from his so-called masters, setting up events to favor Morgause as the intended recipient of all of Taran's keyblade legacy and their intended weapon of rebellion; goes more than a slight bit unhinged after finding out Cell stole what is essentially his progeny for his own ends; makes a new deal with Deviot after Ventress falls completely under the spell of loyalty from the Aurem Crystal shard)

An Empire of Dreams[]

(Works with Deviot and the remaining members of Ventress' alliance to plot against Emperor Zurg and take command over Dominion XIII to rule the universe as gods; is responsible for upgrading some of the Dominion members with cybernetic enhancements to increase their power in battle against Taran; is later unhappily reunited with Doctor Frankenollie after Zurg resurrects the fallen members from Castle Oblivion to bolster the Dominion's ranks due To Taran rebelling against them; makes his move with the other traitors during the wedding, but is restrained by the loyalist Troopers and reprogrammed by Wiseman to obey his commands as the monstrous android Doomtron; is destroyed with the other Seekers during the true final battle of the Realm of Emptiness)

Return of the Keyblade[]

(Is rebuilt by the Galactic Empire to serve in the Imperial Scientific Research & Development, and commanded to work with Frankenollie and the other scientists in restarting old Dominion and Pre-Republic Fall projects to benefit the Empire's new plans of creating soldiers, conquering worlds, and getting one step further in completing the Keyblade War ritual; helps in the revival of Morgause as a brainwashed emissary of Zurg's will, but feels threatened by the lack of control over his own projects; eventually plots behind Emperor Palpatine's back again, but is found out for his troubles and stripped for parts with his A.I.'s deletion being saved for last, though not before calling out to Morgause to remember her true self no matter what)
