Guinevere is a major protagonist in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, first appearing in "The Keyblade Wars" in her original adult state before being reincarnated centuries later in "The Chain of Memories" as the Incorporeo half of Princess Eilonwy.
According to legend, Guinevere was the wife of King Arthur and co-ruler of Camelot, serving as his confidante and one of his most trusted allies in his drive to protect the Lands of Legend from harm. Unfortunately, her trusting nature led her to be easy prey to the machinations of the Seekers of Darkness, and is tricked into leading Arthur into a trap, where he suffers grievous wounds which lead to his eventual demise in the Keyblade War. Taking her own life out of grief, Guinevere's heart and soul were reincarnated as part of Eilonwy's being before being reborn as a new being due to Taran's sacrifice using the Dark-Heart Keyblade to save her life. However, Taran's lack of knowledge of the nature of magical human anatomy led Guinevere to fall into the clutches of Dominion XIII, who used her unique abilities to control and rewrite the memories of mortal beings to assist them in their experiments to test how far the soul can last in an altered state before shutting down so that the Dominion could better implement this knowledge in their plans to slowly take control over the universe with their Moon of Lost Souls.
Guinevere, because of her unique connections to both Taran and Eilonwy, was used to rewrite the boy's memory as part of NOS-4-A2's own plan to overthrow the Dominion's leadership and rule the universe himself, but she rebelled against him and helped Taran thwart his plans. Desperate to redeem herself of her mistake, she willingly went to work under the disgraced sorcerer Count Dooku to rebuild Taran's memory, but was constantly insulted for her unique condition by the bigoted wizard, before finally having enough of his cruelty and leaving him to help her new friends out one way or another.
