Traverse Town

Traverse Town is a major world featured in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, first appearing in "The Journey" as the main hub world for the events of our heroes' quest. Serving as the fantasy equivalent to Old London of the late 1800's to early 1920's, Traverse Town was founded by the High Council from the remains of several city-worlds destroyed by the Hellfire Organization's forces, thus serving as a haven to those lost travelers out there whose worlds were lost to the abyss. To ensure that it would be able to accommodate more inhabitants as time goes by, the Gods placed a magical spell over the land that causes it to expand in size and change in layout to meet the needs of the citizens. Nonetheless, because of its origins as the equivalent of old-timey British towns of the Victorian Era, it mostly keeps up appearances as a quiet and calm town in the middle of the countryside. The best time, the citizens can agree on, when it is ripe to go out for fun is during the night, when the stars can be clearly seen up in the clear, black sky.
