Wonder Man/Simon Williams - initial ionic form
Simon Williams, otherwise known as the superhuman anti-villain Wonder Man, is a supporting character in the Kingdom Hearts Unlimited Saga, and a recurring character in the Midgard-616 campaigns.
First appearing in "The Journey" for a cameo role in the second Iron Foundry campaign, Simon begs for the help of Tony Stark to not take away his struggling company out of a need to keep what little he has, but Stark has already bought it without telling Simon that he did so to keep it alive. Unfortunately, Stark's poor choices in handling the situation lead to a vengeful Simon going to fellow spurned businessman and corrupt founder of A.I.M., Aldrich Killian, to help him in taking back his company by force if need be.
In "A Year of Misery", Simon reveals his fully evolved form as Wonder Man thanks to an ionic-energy spiked injection of the Extremis serum courtesy of Maya Hansen, giving him access to the same abilities as Killian as well as energy manipulation powers to boot. Simon accompanied the other Extremis Warriors in their mission to get revenge on Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wart, and Hazel, but he bailed out during the final confrontation upon realizing how far Killian had fallen in his pursuit of power and went into hiding for several months until the events of "An Empire of Dreams", when he was discovered by Baron Wolfgang von Strucker of the Dominion XIII, and furthered enhanced by the terrorist's experiments with the promise of restoring his company and his humanity once the Avengers were out of the picture. Truth be told, Simon again left at a crucial battle due to lack of interest, this time with several other enhanced HYDRA agents accompanying him, only to be found again, this time by the Dominion XIII's ultimate android project, Ultron, who had plans of his own in store for Wonder Man, plans of which Simon would eventually turn against for humanity's sake at the cost of his life...
